asa named "Business Partner of the Year - 2007" by Chattem (UK)

Chattem (UK) the international arm of the US parent Chattem Inc has generously named asa as Business Partner of the Year - 2007.  The award was made in recognition of the coaching provided to the management team which has resulted in the international division exceeding its annual growth and profitability targets.  The award, presented by Ken Vivian, Managing Director - Chattem (UK), was accepted by Alan Smith on asa's behalf and now sits proudly on display in our offices.
asa to provide career transition support for Shire plc

Shire plc, the UK based global pharmaceutical company, has appointed asa to provide career transition support.  The transition support will be provided for employees exiting the organisation and coaching for individuals taking on new responsibilities internally.
Housing 21 appoints asa to provide team development support for its Senior Executive team

Housing 21, one of the UK's largest RSL's, has appointed asa to provide a team development programme for its Senior Executive team.  The programme will take the form of individual profiling of each team member, a themed team "away day" to build on the team's strengths and ongoing one-to-one support from asa's coaches to enhance and develop each members contribution to the success of the organisation.
asa successfully completes FMCC Mauchline project

At the completion of the project to provide outplacement support to employees at First Milk Cheese Company's Mauchline production facility asa are delighted to announce that 42 (97%)employees were successfully assisted into jobs with new employers.  John Pardy, Head of HR for FMCC, confirmed "This is a superb result for the support provided by asa for our employees, whom we always recognised had excellent skills.  We wish them all good luck in their new careers".
Alan Smith, MD of asa appointed as visiting tutor at Henley Management College

Henley Management College, rated in the top 10 providers of MBA programme in the world, has appointed Alan Smith as a visiting tutor on its full-time MBA programme.  Alan will provide career guidance and deliver workshops on self marketing techniques to students.
asa provides outplacement support in Mauchline, Scotland

Following the decision to transfer production of their cheese products to its facility in Wales, First Milk Cheese Company were forced to announce that 43 jobs at its Mauchline unit would be made redundant.  asa have been appointed to provide career transition advice to the affected workforce. Support will be provided from an on-site career advice centre, utilising workshop and one-to-one coaching.  The project will be managed by Colin Rorison from asa's Edinburgh office.

Cameron (UK) the Houston based supplier of sub-sea and drilling equipment to the oil & gas industry has appointed asa to provide outplacement support to individuals at its Livingstone and Aberdeen bases following a restructuring of one of its operating divisions.

asa Wins Recruitment Project for First Milk Cheese Company
27 July 2007

asa has been commisioned to manage a recruitment project for the First Milk Cheese Company.  Following the development of the Sales and Marketing department three new roles have been identified, at senior level.

One external appointment has been made and the remaining two roles will be filled internally, following the construction and delivery of an assessment day for the candidates.  The assessment encompasses a group exercise, psychometric assessment and competency based interviewing conducted by the Sales and Marketing Director and an asa Consultant - Peter O'Brien.
